The website of Techno India Foundation has been officially launched on July 1, 2018, the last day of the 38th North American Bengali Conference held at Atlantic City, New Jersey. The website link of Techno India Foundation is www.technoindiafoundation.in. Dr. Debasish Chakraborty, the Associate Dean of Central Michigan University and Chief Advisor of Techno India Group introduced Techno India Foundation before the large audience. It is he who has extended the first donation. The website was inaugurated by Prabir Roy, former President of Cultural Association of Bengal, Ashok Rakshit, President of Ananda Mandir and Mou Roychowdhury, Director of Techno India Group. Techno India Foundation is a medium through which people residing abroad can reach out to the economically disadvantaged yet meritorious students of Bengal. Students from school to post-graduate level, as well as technical and other disciplines are eligible for this scholarship. Besides donating money for their scholarships, people can also help the scholars by donating computers, books or other education aids. Bengalis residing abroad often wish to contribute to the development of their motherland, either as personal or corporate initiative. But their desires don’t find a suitable platform. Getting to know about this from his NRI friends, Satyam Roychowdhury, Managing Director of Techno India Group decided to extend the activities of Techno India Foundation abroad. This organisation had been working towards social welfare on self-funding so far in India, especially in West Bengal. Now onwards, it will act as a platform for NRIs to extend their corporate social responsibilities.
