Ms. Sayantani Sen

Assistant Professor, Department Electronics and Communication Engineering

Ms. Sayantani Sen obtained her B. Sc. Hons degree in Physics, B. Tech. in Information Technology and M. Tech. in Radio Physics and Electronics from the University of Calcutta in 2008, 2011 and 2013 respectively. She has recently submitted her Ph. D. thesis on the development of ultraviolet optoelectronic devices based on AlGaN alloys grown by molecular beam epitaxy and is awaiting her degree from the University of Calcutta. She has published research papers in several peer reviewed journals and has presented her work at prominent conferences both in India as well as abroad.

She has completed her B.E. (Electrical) from NIT Agartala. Was awarded University GOLD medal for Masters in Control System Engineering from Jadavpur University. She has received her ph.D degree in 2014 from Jadavpur University. Her research interest includes target tracking, various nonlinear filtering and estimation techniques in electro –chemical energy storage device (mainly, supercapacitor), stochastic pacing therapy of atrial fibrillation prevention (biomedical), and control applications in robotics. She has published several research papers and have more than 17 years of teaching and research experience.
