Guidelines for the Research Applicants

The SNURET Entrance Test syllabus shall consist of 50% of research methodology, and 50% shall be discipline/subject/domain specific.

Students who have secured 50 % marks in the entrance test are eligible to be called for the interview.

SNU will decide the number of eligible students to be called for an interview based on the number of PhD seats available.

The selection of candidates based on the entrance test conducted by SNU, a weightage of 70 % for the entrance test and 30 % for the performance in the interview/viva-voce shall be given.

All applicants are advised to fill up the google form very carefully. Any kind of wrong entry of the form will be eliminated from the final screening. You are also advised to upload the necessary documents all in a single pdf file. The guideline has already been given in the google form as “Upload one combined file with SELF ATTESTED  QUALIFICATION MARK SHEETS , CERTIFICATES (From secondary to highest), NET or GATE CERTIFICATE (if any), CASTE CERTIFICATE (if any),  (FORMAT: PDF with maximum size 10 MB)”

The deadline of the google form will be announced very soon in the website. You are all advised to visit the SNU website time to time to get the latest notification.

The last date for the form submission is 12th August 2024.

The final SNURET 2024-2025 exam date will be announced soon in the website only.
