Dr. Anindita Ghosal is a committed academician and researcher, bringing over 17 years of teaching experience and more than 10 years of research expertise in the field of Statistics. Known for her academic consistency, she has maintained an outstanding educational record throughout her career. Notably, she stood first at the secondary level in her school, setting the foundation for a lifelong dedication to excellence.
Dr. Ghosal has a solid grounding in various branches of Statistics, having taught a wide spectrum of courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Her doctoral research focused on occupational mobility, where she developed three innovative measures to analyse job transition patterns, contributing valuable insights into labour market dynamics.
Before her current academic position, she served as a Research Fellow in the Department of Statistics at the University of Burdwan, gaining hands-on experience in simulation, statistical modelling, and programming. Her research interests extend to contemporary and interdisciplinary areas such as Biostatistics, Operations Research, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning.
Dr. Ghosal has published more than five research papers in reputed international scientific journals and continues to contribute actively to the field. She has played a key role in organizing and conducting numerous academic events, including conferences, seminars, workshops, and webinars. Her expertise has earned her invitations as a resource person at several national and international forums.
She is proficient in statistical tools and programming languages, particularly R and SPSS, which she leverages for both research and instruction. Dr. Ghosal is also a Life Member of the Calcutta Statistical Association, Kolkata, and remains actively involved in the academic community.
