The SNU campus has one of the best-in-class infrastructure and facilities. As the campus is growing in numbers of students, faculty and the infrastructure, safety and security become important for those who live, work and study there. The security is deployed around the clock, throughout the year. Our security officers ensure the safety of all students, faculty, staff, outsourced manpower and visitors. The security on the campus is intense but non-obtrusive and well connected through portable, wireless system, monitored round the clock. The university has many safety programs in place including HSE committee, a campus wide notification system for all concerned for updates and whistle alert program. The administrative Department also provides for all ID''s including VMS (Visitor Management System) and safe parking for vehicles, inclusive of visitors. The department is in process of installing high resolution non-intrusive surveillance system. The primary objective of the administrative department is to provide a safe and secure campus which encourages research led education and promote environment awareness.
