Theme: Winning in this VUCA World
VUCA— an acronym, first used in 1987, to describe or to reflect on Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity and Ambiguity of general conditions and situations of those part of the world after the Cold War, which began sometimes after World War II and continued till 1991. What can be a better theme in this time of technology extravaganza than “Winning in this VUCA World”.
The fifth edition of INFOCOM Dhaka 2019 in association with the SAARC CCI celebrated the above theme on a 2-day program held in Dhaka on 26th and 27th July, 2019. The aim of INFOCOM Dhaka 2019 was to bring together business and technology leaders from India and Bangladesh with an agenda to interact and discuss the latest trends in technology and share experiences.
INFOCOM was initiated by the house of ABP in 2002, with the aim to “demonstrate India's quest to be the IT superpower”. Over the last 14 editions of the event, INFOCOM today is one of the largest congregations of ICT professionals, buyers-sellers, corporate leaders, academics, visionaries, and policymakers.
This event brought together business leaders, technology specialists and technology users on the same platform. The focus areas of the event were titled as “Innovation and Customer Centricity”, “Reimagining the Digital Enterprise”, “Cyber Resilience” and many others.
Techno India Group and Sister Nivedita University participated in the event as Education Partner in INFOCOM Dhaka and was represented by Mr. Surajit Biswas, Chief Operating Officer of TIG and SNU. He spoke on a very relevant topic “New Era of Education & Learning” and expanded his ideas on the TRIPLE FOCUS to this new approach.
