Kolkata , the city of joy is incomplete without food. Similarly if you are Kolkattan, then you must have been to coffee house of College Street. But now with the rapid development , the New Town Coffee House is now under a new cityscape. Although both the cafe's name are similar yet there's major difference.

With all such positivity there's one negative point as well which is the distance where local buses do not have access except for autos , e-rickshaws and ola or uber.

Starting from get -up of the New Town Coffee House it's urbanized than that of old one. Though they have tried to keep the modernization and classic touch through the waiters dress code and the round big fans.

Now coming to the food, Coffee House , by it's name only it's easy to understand that it's deliberately compulsory to order coffee. So, I had ordered "Americano" the digestive black coffee with little bitter in taste. At first I didn't like it but with gradual 2-3 sip kind of started liking it.

Then coming to starter, "Fish Kabiraji" one of the most delicious and famous dish of new Coffee House. The spicy and crispy fish is enough to water your mouth and give you the feeling of heaven for some seconds.

Gradually with every passing time I was seeing that it's perfect place to bring friends and to chill with them which is so called Bengali 's Adda. So, yes both the cafe's gives nostalgic vibes of college days. Therefore I will highly recommend the people to come, visit and spend their most precious time over here.
